About Business

The Udit Rehabilitation Foundation (Udit Rehab) is dedicated to providing holistic support for children and young adults with special needs. Their programs are designed to recognize the unique "abilities" of every individual, focusing on mainstreaming, independence, and personal growth.

Core Service Units & Programs

1. Learning Centre (Ages 3–15) This unit serves children with developmental disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and speech or learning disabilities.

  • Customized Learning: Special Educators design individualized plans focused on school readiness and mainstreaming.
  • Therapeutic Support: Includes on-site Occupational, Speech, and Physio-Therapists to address sensory and physical developmental needs.
  • Parental Support: Dedicated counselors work with parents to navigate the emotional and practical challenges of raising a child with special needs.

2. Early Intervention Unit (Ages 3–6) Focused on infants and toddlers at risk for developmental delays, this unit emphasizes early remedial and preventive care.

  • Developmental Areas: Targets physical, cognitive, communication, social/emotional, and sensory development.
  • Stimulating Environment: Aims to lessen the long-term effects of disabilities by providing appropriate learning opportunities during a child's most formative years.

3. Special School Unit This unit provides a curriculum that integrates academics with intensive developmental therapies.

  • Specialized Therapies: Includes Sensory Integration, Neuro-developmental, and Speech therapy.
  • Holistic Curriculum: Students engage in Yoga, Music, Art, and Sports to ensure all-around development.
  • Guidance Sessions: Mandatory counseling for parents to help them manage the complex medical and social landscape of special education.

4. Academy for Slow Learners This unit caters to school drop-outs and first-generation learners, offering a rounded program that respects the individual's learning pace.

  • NIOS Certification: Facilitates education under the National Institute of Open Schooling system.
  • Skill Enrichment: Training includes memory enhancement, traditional games, and behavior therapy.

5. Vocational Training & Job Skill Development (Ages 16+) The goal of this program is to transform young adults into dignified, independent members of society through life-skills-based training.

  • Daily Living Skills: Training in grooming, personal hygiene, handling money, and using public transport.
  • Vocational Skills: Practical sessions in cooking, housekeeping, gardening, office work (filing/binding), and basic computer skills.
  • Employment Pathway: Staff conduct periodic evaluations to match a trainee's aptitude with meaningful employment opportunities.
