About Business

Atmantan Wellness Centre is an integrated wellness destination in Mulshi, Pune, Maharashtra, set across a 42-acre valley in the Sahyadri hills and overlooking Mulshi Lake. The setting brings together mountain and lake views, green outdoor spaces and a retreat format designed for guests who want to focus on wellbeing away from the pace of city life. Atmantan describes its approach through the relationship between atma, mana and tann—the soul, mind and body—and pairs warm Indian hospitality with personalised, doctor-guided programmes. It is part of Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL).

The centre’s programmes begin with consultation and are shaped around the guest’s objectives, health profile and requirements. Official programme categories include lifestyle management, detox, weight balance, restorative wellness, yoga, Ayurveda, fitness, emotional wellbeing, rehabilitation and disease management. The centre says that medical guidance and diagnostics are combined with Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Fitness and Emotional Wellbeing. Programme length and inclusions differ, so prospective guests should speak with reservations before assuming that a particular therapy, assessment or daily activity is included.

The Wellness Pavilion is the main setting for holistic activities and prescribed therapies after a doctor consultation. Atmantan’s therapy wing draws on Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Chinese Medicine and Energy Healing. Published examples include acupressure, aromatherapy treatments, Tao Chi Nei Tsang, Shirodhara, Udwarthanam, hot stone therapies, body polishes, cocooning wraps, holistic facials, Pranic chakra work, Hammam, open-colonics and Balneotherapy. The official site states that therapies are doctor-prescribed and follow mandatory health checks; availability therefore depends on consultation and the individual programme. Guests should share relevant medical information, injuries, allergies and limitations with the team before arrival.

Movement and fitness are supported by Shakti, the centre’s 3,500-square-foot gymnasium. It includes strength training, functional training, indoor cycling, yoga, Pilates and dance spaces. Depending on capability and programme needs, trainers may guide guests through circuit work, step aerobics, cardio kick-boxing, Tai Chi, aqua aerobics, stretching and dance formats. The wider grounds include the outdoor gym known as Boudhik Hub and Prana, a scenic amphitheatre overlooking Mulshi Lake. Physiotherapy services include postural assessment, physical analysis, manual therapies and movement therapies for mobility, strength and rehabilitation goals. The Kriya Pavilion is used for yogic kriyas when prescribed by a doctor.

Water and recovery facilities include an indoor, temperature-controlled salt pool and an outdoor infinity salt pool with views toward the lake and mountains. The Wellness Pavilion’s wet suites provide changing and grooming areas, hot and cold showers, steam facilities, infrared saunas and access to a quiet room. These spaces are part of the centre’s structured retreat offering, so guests should confirm access and scheduling with the reservations team rather than treating them as a walk-in spa service.

Accommodation is integrated into the wellness stay. Atmantan lists Wellness Suites, Garden rooms, Balcony rooms and the Rain Tree Wellness Villa. Wellness Suites have lake and Sahyadri views and are described with private therapy rooms, infrared saunas, steam-shower cubicles, walk-in wardrobes and 1.5 baths. Garden and Balcony rooms offer king or twin beds, loungers, floor-to-ceiling windows and views that vary by category. The Rain Tree Wellness Villa is described as a private two-bedroom sanctuary with its own infinity salt pool, gymnasium, couple therapy room, infrared sauna, outdoor shower, steam facilities and butler’s pantry. Room features and inclusions can change by category; guests should confirm the exact accommodation before booking.

Food is part of the programme rather than a separate add-on. Atmantan describes fine-dining vegetarian wellness cuisine planned around a guest’s health status, retreat goals, preferences, allergies and intolerances. Vistara provides indoor and alfresco seating overlooking Mulshi Lake and serves doctor-prescribed meals to retreat guests. Té-jus, the detox café, is described as a space for herbal teas, liquid preparations, cleansing soups and other refreshments prepared with farm-fresh produce. Guests should provide dietary requirements in advance and ask reservations which meal plan and dining venues apply to their stay.

The centre also offers nature-facing spaces and a calm daily rhythm, including scenic paths, lake and valley viewpoints, landscaped areas, an amphitheatre and locations for meditation or reflection. The gallery shows spaces such as the Welcome Pavilion, Prana, the Wellness Pavilion, the outdoor pool and views across the Sahyadris, giving prospective guests a useful sense of the setting before they travel. The official gallery also documents therapy rooms, yoga and fitness areas, dining spaces, accommodation interiors and the Rain Tree Wellness Villa. Guests can use those images to compare the atmosphere of different spaces, but should rely on reservations for current room allocation and programme inclusions. Atmantan’s official information says it can be reached by road from Pune or Mumbai, with the destination in Mulshi, Pune – 412108, Maharashtra, India. For travel guidance, programme suitability, dates, accommodation, consultation requirements and current inclusions, contact reservations@atmantan.com or +91 76313 16666, which the official contact page also identifies for WhatsApp. Because Atmantan is a planned wellness retreat, advance contact is recommended for arrival instructions, health disclosures, dietary needs and the services available during the selected stay.
